  • March 15, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Florida Miami Mile Madness, Miami: In 2007, we hosted a series of fun one mile races giving away a lot of prizes and adding some fun to our races. This year, the Miami Beach Mile is now MILE MADNESS, an evening event on the Miami-Dade Busway. Run a mile 5 different ways! This race is perfect for beginners and athletes of all ages.   • March 30, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Florida Celebrity 5K benefiting Community Partnership for Homeless, Miami and Miami Beach: Last year, Gloria and Emilio Estefan joined a host of local celebrities to RUN FOR THE HOMELESS along with 3,000 runners and walkers. Run the red carpet and experience one of the best 5K races in the country, featuring free performance shirts, running hats, backpacks and more for registered runners, plus a spinning medal for every finisher.   • May 10, ALS Recovery Fund 5K and 10K, Coconut Grove: Come out and help raise money to cure and prevent ALS/ Lou Gehrig's Disease.
